BBYO Centennial
BBYO's 100th anniversary was the largest milestone in the organization's history, a yearlong celebration of Jewish teen leadership that culminated in the biggest International Convention ever held, drawing over 5,000 guests representing 60+ countries to Orlando.
I co-chaired the campaign for three years, from strategic planning through implementation. I worked hand in hand with BBYO's CEO and department leadership to bring the anniversary to life across every part of our work. We created an entirely new visual identity, designed special programs for local implementation, hosted dozens of alumni reunions, and launched new digital platforms including a digital archive, a networking platform for alumni, a storefront, and an endowment campaign to secure the organization's future.
The theme for the campaign, Forever Young, perfectly fit the spirit of the moment. BBYO is an organization that will always be about building up the next generation and a place where you can always feel young. It was a beautiful message that resonated with BBYO's global community of teens, alumni, staff, parents, and supporters across 60+ countries.
